It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other, hasn’t it? The past couple of months have flown by at a whirlwind pace! Our lives have changed a bit since then, and we have a lot to catch up on.
We’ve been busy behind the scenes packing up orders and offering virtual services. The amount of support we have received is incredible and we can’t tell you what it’s meant to us! So many of you have reached out to cheer us on, and we feel full of love and gratitude. We’ve also become highly aware that while business is great, we really do feed our souls with social interaction. We miss your faces!
We’re excited to open up on Wednesday, May 27th - with a few adjustments to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our town, our clients, and our staff.
It turns out that jewelry shopping can be an incredibly intimate experience! You really need to feel jewelry. It needs to be tried on. Often right next to your face. And sometimes you might need help getting it off again. How do we find a graceful way through all of the variables? And how do we make sure it’s still fun? If you’ve met us before, you know we’re innate people pleasers.
SO. Here’s what you can do to help us keep our party going. Help us keep Hood River safe!
- At this time, our maximum capacity is 4 shoppers.
- Hand sanitizer will be provided at the door, and we ask that you please sanitize your hands upon arrival.
- We will be wearing masks during your visit, and we hope you’ll do the same. Remember what we just said about jewelry being an intimate experience? We might need to get closer than you think! Disposable masks are available and encouraged when you shop with us.
- Show your fellow shopper love by practicing physical distancing whenever possible.
- Find something you might like? Ask us for a selection tray. We want to help you experience our jewelry and gather the pieces that catch your eye! Please help us by keeping all your contenders in one place. Your selection tray of jewelry will be sterilized after your visit.
- We wash our hands between every transaction. We also sanitize touch points throughout the gallery like door handles, counter tops, and display cases.
We feel this is a big responsibility to us. Our little community doesn’t have a lot of infrastructure for hospitalizations. Our response and medical teams are busy every summer just trying to keep up, and we want to be careful to add as little stress to our community as possible. So please help us do the best that we can!
Let us know if we can improve your experience. Help us nail this thing. We can’t do it without you, and we can do it best if we work together.
Looking forward to seeing you soon :)
Christine
